Objectives: The site needed to communicate to two audiences: physicians interested in CME and companies interested in supporting InforMEDical’s programs. The technical nature of the information and the need for frequent updates made the ability for staff to edit site content an important goal. As more of the industry had moved to online communications, increased search engine exposure had become more important.
Solutions: The content was reorganized to display the program information relevant to each audience. The use of a content management system streamlined data entry and improved the company’s communications workflow. The increased online content was optimized for search engine visibility, and link building was undertaken to improve rankings.
