We optimized the site for broad keyword phrases covering the service as a whole ("faux painter Boston"), but also added text to their example pages to highlight specific kinds of projects that would likely come up in searches ("restaurant murals"). Additional link building has helped strengthen their online positions.
Results: In the first year after the optimization, traffic from Google alone increased 500% and the company received well over 100 qualified leads through the web site.
